To move the ball consistently with a quick passing game, your quarterback needs to be well schooled in getting the ball out quickly.  Here are 9 Every Day Drills to improve his fundamentals to get throws off FAST!

The full presentation from Ryan Larsen, Head Coach, Carnegie Mellon University on [Fundamentals and Concepts in a Quick Passing Game out of a Multiple Spread Offense](https://production.glazierdrive.com/library/qb-fundamentals-reads-for-quick-game) is available on Glazier Drive.<https://production.glazierdrive.com/library/qb-fundamentals-reads-for-quick-game>

Quick game philosophy

- Get the ball out FAST
- Get the ball to Green Grass
- Give the OLine a new pitch in protection
- Two for one install (Quick Game + RPO Game)
- ID your best plays and run them in MULTIPLE WAYS + Have answers off them.  Formations, Tempos, etc.  Double Moves

Quick Game Fundamentals and Drill Work

- Toes at 5 yards Deep in the Gun
- 1 Step Team (we already have our depth for quick game protection)
Get points aligned (Throwing instep OR off shoulder/hip/ankle)
Right to Right = "Catch, Wheel, Throw with Back Foot (Right Foot)
Righty to Left - "Catch, Set, Throw" with Back Foot (Right Foot)
- Drops in Individual Time only during camp/installation of plays.
Otherwise, we coach drops in Routes on Air and 1 on 1s
We use drill work to reinforce drops and create a sense of urgency with a game.  All drills are made to improve fundamentals, not fill time.
