Morgan State Defensive Coordinator Antone' Sewell unveils a Quarters coverage system that systematically eliminates what spread teams do best.  Their goal is to force the opponent to rely on their secondary options – effectively making them play "left-handed."

Whether you're facing RPOs, quick game, or vertical concepts, these battle-tested adjustments will transform your defense from reactive to dictatorial, putting you back in control of the game's tempo and rhythm.

2x 2 Quarters Rules

- We have the ability to play all of our quarters' coverages vs. any 2x2 offensive formation.
- Vs. 2x2, we can play quarters across the field or we can play different variations based on down & distance, alignment, etc...

Alignments

- CBs- either 7 yds off or press (inside or outside leverage based on divider rules)
- Safeties- 10-12 yds from L.O.S.; inside a detached #2
- Sam-strong 90 technique (apex vs detached #2)
- Mike- strong 10 technique
- Will-weak 30 technique (apex vs detached #2)

Coverage Adjustments

- In certain situations, we will make a "cloud" call to one side; we will then play cover 2 read to that side.
- This allows us to maintain our gap integrity while also being sound vs the pass.
- The front will determine to which side we play read 2, we can also adjust to tight splits or stack alignment by #1 & #2
