Defensive Knockdown Drill

The Defensive Knockdown drill helps train safeties to make the proper read and then knockdown the receiver following an attempted pass from the QB.

This drill utilizes a QB, a safety, and 2 dummies that simulate receivers running fade routes down the field.

The safety must put himself in a position to cover both receivers and react to the ball when thrown.

After properly reading the eyes of QB's, the safety will tackle the dummy right after the potential catch.
