To run the Defensive one on one Defeat Block drill, you'll need a tackler, an offensive lineman and a dummy simulating a ball carrier.

The tackler and lineman will line up at the line of scrimmage where the tackler will defeat the lineman's block and pursue the moving ball carrier.

The tackler should make the correct read, square his shoulders and then follow through with the tackle even after contact.
