FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does it cost?

Nothing. These are fully funded events through our military partnerships — at no cost to your school.

What does my school need to provide?

A date, the number of students, your bell schedule, and access to the best available space (Weight Room, Gym, Field House, or Field).  Marines, College Army ROTC, and Glazier bring all the equipment.

Is this just for athletes or football teams?

This is a full day PE or weight room event for all students, athletes, and non-athletes alike.

Who runs the event?

Events are led by Glazier and supported by the U.S. Marine Corps or Army ROTC representatives.

What is the event schedule?
  • Warm-Up: Dynamic student-led movements to prepare for competition.

  • Team Ammo Can Press: Teams press ammo cans for max reps in a set time.

  • Plank Challenge: Students hold plank as long as possible; top winners recognized.

  • Squat Competition: Either timed team reps or individual 'Bring Sally Up' challenge.

  • Strength Circuits / Relays: Stations with 45–60 seconds per exercise, rotated in rounds.

  • Pull-up/push-up team competition: First team to a desired number, or whoever can do the most in 5 minutes.

  • Speaking Session: Final 10 minutes: Military shares their journey, values, and opportunities.

What if the weather is an issue and we plan to host the event outside?

The Military is ready to run your event in rain or shine, but if there is inclement weather, we recommend moving the event indoors.

What availability do you have?

We ask for a 4-week notice to schedule Weight Room Takeovers. These events are best held on days when there are no scheduled testing or early release sporting events.

How does the school receive our incentives?

Once your event is complete, Glazier will send out an incentive request form that will allow you to designate where the check goes and who it is best made out to (school, booster club, athletic department).

How do I sign up?

Fill out the short interest form below. A Glazier rep will reach out with available dates, and help you build the best schedule for your school.
