Mental wellness, not mental health: you'll learn to build an environment that supports your athletes' wellness. The workshop isn't training to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Workshop FAQ

Who is the workshop for?

Coaches of every sport and level – high school, middle school, youth, club and college – plus athletic directors who want to build a positive culture across their programs.

How do I attend?

Any Glazier pass or membership gets you in – including a membership for just your sport. You don't need a Season Pass, and there's no separate registration. Just show up at the workshop in your city.

I'm a youth coach. Can I attend for free?

Yes. Youth league and rec coaches who aren't affiliated with a school can get in free with the Youth Coach Scholarship. It's a free 2027 Youth Coach Pass (normally $75) that gets you into every 2027 Glazier clinic, including the PCA workshop in your city. Get your free pass.

I don't coach football. Can I still attend?

Yes. The workshop is built for coaches of every sport, and a Glazier membership for your own sport is all you need. Browse memberships by sport. Athletic departments can cover every coach in every sport with the All Staff + All Sports Pass.

How long is the workshop?

In Boston, Orlando, Cincinnati, Seattle, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., it's a 90-minute workshop on Friday morning (10:30 am – 12:00 pm local time), before clinic breakout sessions begin. In Denver and Minneapolis, it's a 50-minute session during the clinic – see the locations above for times.

Is this mental health training?

No. The workshop focuses on mental wellness – creating a positive, supportive team environment. It doesn't cover diagnosing or treating athletes who may be struggling with mental health.

Who is Positive Coaching Alliance?

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a national nonprofit that trains coaches, parents and athletes to create a positive, character-building youth sports culture. View the workshop outline.
